Welding is carried out in all spatial positions with direct current of reverse polarity or alternating current from a transformer with an idle voltage of 50±5 V; Welding should be performed in a short arc without transverse oscillations.
CL-11 APS electrodes are designed for welding austenitic corrosion-resistant steels AISI304, AISI347, etc., operating in aggressive environments at temperatures up to 450°C. They are used for welding of pressure vessels, pipelines, and equipment parts of the food and petrochemical industries, power engineering and energy industries.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES
- excellent mechanical properties of the deposited metal and increased corrosion resistance in aggressive environments at temperatures up to 450 °C;
- high welding and technological properties, low spatter, easy slag removal and seam formation with a smooth transition to the base metal were noted;
- deposition rate factor: 0,15…0,19 g/А·min;
- consumption of electrodes per 1 kg of deposited metal: 1,3…1,6 kg.
REDRYING BEFORE WELDING
- the permissible moisture content in the coating before use is not more than 0,2 %;
- if the electrode coating is moistened above normal, dry for 60 minutes at 400±10°С.
