PURPOSE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION
Filler rod W4Si1 with high Si-Mn content, for argon-arc and oxygen-gas welding (surfacing) of low-alloy and carbon steels. Filler rods w4si1 rod are widely used for pipeline welding, shipbuilding, auto and mechanical engineering, and construction. The rod is used for sheet metal, while the seam is formed in one pass (several passes).
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Filler rods are applied according to the type of base metal. The rod diameter is selected in accordance with a base metal thickness. Welding can be performed in all the spatial positions except the PE. Welds can be performed in one pass. Argon can be used as a shielding gas.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES
Being copper-coated, the surface has a high adhesive ability, which provides protection due to a solid and durable coating. Marking is carried out according to the DSTU EN ISO 544 standard.
