High resistance to acids, as well as general and intercrystalline corrosion at temperatures up to 400 °C. Electrodes Monolith M-316L are characterized by high welding-technological properties: stable arcing, easy slag removal, and good seam formation with a smooth transition to the base metal.
PURPOSE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION
The electrodes Monolith M-316-L are designed for welding corrosion-resistant austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steels, of 03Х17Н14М3, 08Х18Н14М2В, 08Х17Н15М3Т, AISI 316, AISI 318, AISI 316L, types and etc., for details operating at temperatures up to 400°С. Electrodes are suitable for welding boilers, tanks and equipment for waste oils, for coke ovens, equipment that works in contact with seawater, parts of equipment for the chemical, textile, pulp and paper industries, as well as equipment for the production of wool and artificial silk.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Electrodes are used for welding in all the spatial positions, except for the downward one. It is recommended to perform welding at maximum possible speed without transverse oscillations of electrode.
REDRYING BEFORE WELDING
At normal storage conditions, the redrying is not required. In case of moisture, redrying is required at 350-370°С for 60 min.., 3 times max.
