- provide easy initial and re-ignition, soft and stable arc burning, low metal losses from splashing, uniform melting of the coating, excellent seam metal formation, easy separation of slag crust;
- are used in welding with both AC and DC for connecting sheet steels and steel structures exposed to static and dynamic loads, welding tanks and pipelines where high mechanical properties of joints are required;
- Моnolith PRO are suitable for welding in unfavorable conditions for other brands of electrodes;
- deposition rate factor is 0,15…0,17 g/A·m;
- electrode consumption is 1,4 kg per 1kg of deposited metal.
PURPOSE AND APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Monolith PRO electrodes are designed for manual arc welding in all spatial positions of structures made of carbon steels.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
- Applied for welding of corner, butt, and lap-welded joints made from 1 to 20 mm thickness metal;
- Electrodes are low-sensitive to the edge preparation quality, rust and other surface contaminations;
- electrodes with a diameter of 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm are suitable for welding in all spatial positions except vertical-up;
- 5 mm electrodes - for flat, horizontal and vertical-down welding positions.
REDRYING BEFORE WELDING
- permissible moisture content in the coating before use is not more than 0.7 %;
- when moistening redrying is required at 130±10ºC / 60 min.
